B5 Sports Center and Kidsclub Koncierge are excited to host one of our new Summer Camp Series, “Hoops N Code” in partnership with TheCoderSchool. This full-day camp offers basketball skill development and coding skills using interactive computer programming platforms.

All campers will start at B5 Sports Center no later than 9am. Transportation will be provided each morning to and from TheCoderSchool located in Sterling, Virginia. Campers will have an exciting morning diving into the process of game development using drag n’ drop languages, such as “snap” and “scratch” to create their own fun games. All levels of coding are welcome! 

In the afternoon campers will crossover and dribble into basketball skills and drills at B5 Sports Center. Campers will cap the day with movies and snack in the Kidsclub Sports Lounge!

Camp Hours: 9am-3pm - Before Care: 7am-9am After Care: 3pm-6pm

Ages: rising 4th graders and up

Schedule

7am - Shoot-around court time and individual games at B5 Sports Center

9am - Transportation to TheCoderSchool - 21680 Ridgetop Circle, #150 Sterling, Va 20166

9:30am - Coding Skill: Game development skill-Code your own game. Groups will be assigned depending on skill level

11am - Transportation provided back to B5 Sports Center

11:30am - B5 basketball skills

12pm - Lunch

12:45pm - Basketball skills development/games

3:30pm - Snack

4:00pm - Movies and games 

6pm - Parent pickup from B5 Sports Center

Note: Campers will be at B5 Sports Center all day on Tuesday-No Coding Lab
